WILLEMSTAD.- Judge Paulides has convicted a stepfather yesterday with 4 years of which 2 years imprisonment, for impregnating a minor girl twice. The stepfather was crying with tears when the judge read a letter written by the victim, requesting the judge not to incarcerate the accused for too long and also stating that she wanted to withdraw her complaint. Furthermore, the girl also stated in her letter that despite the fact that her stepfather had abused her she still has to say that the accused took pretty good care of her. The case concerns a stepfather of 49 years old, who is accused of having sexual relation with a minor girl since 2013 up to 2018. The girl got impregnated twice and in both cases abortion was committed.
