WILLEMSTAD.- Yesterday at night, police from the Hato Airport, the Public Order Maintenance Team, Customs and also Kmar carried out a fairly large check on the Weg Naar Hato at Hato’s cave on both sides of the road.
This control was directed to observe if the motorists ran with the documents in order and if they are or not fulfilling what the Law stipulates. During the control, 3 undocumented men were arrested and also a woman without papers who failed to show her valid documents in orders to be in our country.
Apart from this, they also ran into a number of motorists running with dark glasses and without a license plate or other documents without being in order. Some vehicles were confiscated, and they were sent to the Inspectorate of Traffic until the time the owners do their paperwork correctly. Those who had delinquent fines were transported on a bus to Hato to attend to their delinquent fines immediately or to enter payment arrangements. At that moment there were travelers who also had delayed fines.
