Curacao, August 3, 2018. To offer travelers to Curacao more and better connectivity options, taking advantage of Avianca’s global route network, the airline will add four weekly frequencies between the island and its connection center in Bogota, Colombia.

Starting today, August 3, in addition to the daily direct flight between the two destinations, Avianca will begin operating an additional frequency on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, for a total of 11 weekly frequencies.

Operations to Bogota are serviced by A320 aircraft with capacity for 150 passengers, 12 in Business Class and 138 in Economy Class, which results in a 1,200-seat increment between the two destinations.

“We are constantly improving the services we offer to meet the needs of our passengers. With this increment in frequencies between Curacao and Bogota, Avianca aims at improving connection options for the island, offering passengers two different time slots, four times a week, with access to more destinations within the airline’s extensive route network. We are confident that business and leisure travelers will benefit with the addition of these frequencies to these two destinations”, said Juan Pablo Serrano, Regional Sales Manager for Panama and the Caribbean.
