WILLEMSTAD- May 6, 2019 – Germany remains an important market for the island of Curaçao. Hence, the Curaçao Tourist Board’s (CTB) ongoing efforts to offer refresher sessions that keep travel agents in that country up-to-date with how Curaçao’s tourism product is developing. As part of these efforts, the CTB recently organized a roadshow for 80 travel agents in the three German cities of Berlin, Speyer and Munich. Over the course of three days, the agents learned about the latest Curaçao-related developments, including the Condor flights that will be added in the 2019/20 winter season.

The sessions were all held at different Sea Life Centres, which are part of one of the world’s largest aquarium chains. The setting was chosen to allow the agents, symbolically at least, to take a plunge into the blue Caribbean waters surrounding Curaçao. In addition to the information provided by the CTB, there were presentations by KLM representatives and by AERTiCKET, the largest airline ticket wholesaler in Germany. Once again, the CTB looks back to a successful roadshow in Germany.
