WILEMSTAAD.- Goodbye Velas Curaçao 2018 and until 2022. Many people took time yesterday to stand along the Sta. Annabaai in the morning and even more in the afternoon along the south coast of Curaçao to observe and wave goodbye to the Tall Ships. Undoubtedly, this regatta brought a joy to the community the last 3 days.
Yesterday morning, with the help of the KTK tugboats and lots of celebration with whistles and some boats playing music, the Tall Ships left the harbour and sailed to Caracasbaai to lineup and afterward departing one after the other with their sallies out to say goodbye to Curaçao, until 2022.
