WILLEMSTAD.- Yesterday evening during the weekly press conference of the Government of Curaçao, the Minister Mrs. Suzy Camelia-Römer and the President of AMAK, the Association of Musicians and Artists of Curaçao, Mr. Manfred “Feco” Gomes signed an agreement for the prevention of damage to the ear in the presence of the Quota Club representative, an organization that raises awareness around hearing care.

The agreement is that the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature together with AMAK have united to give their contribution and prevent the damage to the ear caused by music that is extremely loud. Their push is aimed at the audience that attends the musical events presented by AMAK members, so they can enjoy a safe way of listening to music at these events.

The appointments between the parties was fixed in the agreement “Musical Sector of Prevention of Damage to the Ear”.
