Willemstad.-Last night at around 11.00 in the evening, the police were called to an incident on Romulo Betancourt Blvd where a person was walking up the Juliana Bridge. The victim was going in the direction of Otrobanda. Various vehicles driving past her had to deviate in order to avoid hitting her since she was practically walking in the middle of the street. But not before long, she was inevitably struck by a car and according to witnesses, it was a brutal impact. The ambulance was called to the site l to give assistance. The victim who turned out to be Nicole Lake, had suffered many injuries but was luckily in a fairly stable condition.
