WILLEMSTAD.- The Curacao Medical Center (CMC) informs that they have increased the number of beds available for COVID-19 patients to a maximum of 121. This morning the Operating room team converted the Recovery Room into an Intensive Care for COVID-19 patients.
Under normal circumstances, the recovery room is where patients are moved to recover after surgery. This area is located next to the operating theatre and is equipped with monitoring equipment.
