WILLEMSTAD.- The Dutch doctor Elisa Janszen obtained a permit from the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature to open a special clinic for undocumented people in Curaçao. Janszen works as a doctor at Sta. Elizabeth Hospital and is the initiator of the “Health for All” Foundation. She got permission from the Ministry to open a clinic where she can help undocumented people and give medical care to the refugees.

The “Health for All” Foundation is a non-governmental organization that works with UNHCR and local organizations that are at the forefront of undocumented persons such as Venex and Human Rights Caribbean. All these groups initiated and are financed by ‘crowdfunding’ (collective financing), in order to generate income. The intention of this clinic is that it will work with volunteers only. It will open its doors in the neighborhood of Otrobanda, next to SEHOS. So far is not known the date on which this clinic will open its doors.
