Stichting Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds in Curaçao receives financial donation Orco Bank honors yearly commitment to the fight against cancer

Willemstad, October 20th, 2021– Orco Bank was unable to sponsor the annual Ride, Sail, Swim & Walk
for the Roses event due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year. But the bank is dedicated in their mission
to assist Stichting Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds in its efforts to collect the needed funds to continue to
support cancer patients on the island. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the bank’s
employees took this opportunity to help raise awareness for this cause.
Orco Bank’s team has been a proud ally for Stichting Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds and wants to continue
this tradition. The Management Board of Orco Bank, Ms. Désirée Alberto and Mr. Edward Pietersz, wants
to ensure cancer patients are not forgotten especially as our attention has shifted to the COVID-19
pandemic and its ongoing effects on our lives.
Stichting Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds warmly welcomed Orco Bank’s contribution. Ms. Frieda Geller,
Chairman of the foundation, expressed her surprise in receiving this kind gesture from Orco Bank stating:
“Thanks to this donation we have been able to complete a nice sum for this year. Every guilder collected
is dedicated towards helping cancer patients and their families. We are most thankful and are happy with
Orco Bank’s continuous dedication”.
