WILLEMSTAD.- This coming Friday there will be two flights that will go to Venezuela. All Venezuelans who have their tickets purchased previously, will have preference to return to their country. This flight will be clearly for all Venezuelans who were trapped, from the moment President Nicolás Maduro closed the border with Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire.

Many were the Venezuelans who were stuck in Curaçao, since Maduro closed the airspace. After many reciprocal deliberations, it must be informed that yesterday in the late afternoon, it was known that Venezuela will allow two flights to take their nationals back to their country. They will fly with the Laser and Albatros airlines.

After Maduro announced the closure of the border specifically with Curaçao, there were many Venezuelans who wanted to get home, but this was not possible. In this way the negotiations continued until yesterday night, the confirmation entered and people trapped on the island will have the chance to finally reach their homes. People who have tickets purchased on February 21, 26 and March 1 will have preference.

There is a lot of confusion these days with the measures that Maduro took and the authorities are working hard to smooth out the situation in such a way that all the people can finally get their way home. Because of that, Venezuelans were looking for other flights derived from other destinations to see a way to get to their homes from even other countries. But most of these flights were extremely expensive and many of these people did not have the money to buy those tickets. This coming Friday they will have the opportunity to find their way back home.
