WILLEMSTAD.- After October 4, 2018, the Judge Commissioner ordered the arrest of George Jamaloodin for 60 days. Jamaloodin appealed to the decision of the Judge Commissioner in Superior Court (HOF). Yesterday the court in charge of this case rendered the decision and rejected the petition. Jamaloodin who was living in Venezuela because of his health condition,  was brought to Curacao on September 10th from Venezuela, where he was for a long time. At the end of October, a request was made by Jamaloodin to be freed pending his case in Court. The Superior Court rejected the petition. As is well known, Jamaloodin is suspected of being involved in the cases: "Passaat", "Germanium" and "Maximus". In its decision, the court upheld its decision of rejection for the reasonable doubt of a possible flight of the suspect. This legal consideration is the most powerful to keep Jamaloodin in custody.
