WILLEMSTAD.- This afternoon at 4:00 a.m., there is a coalition meeting planned. The topic is the answer that the Government must send to the Financial Supervision Committee. This response should come out today and it is expected that the Cft will be informed that it is not possible to present the measures right now to cover the deficit of 127 million guilders on the budget. From yesterday an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers was called to deliberate the answer for the Cft. Today the Council of Ministers will continue to deliberate on the response that should go to the Cft and also in the afternoon will inform all the people of a meeting of the Coalition about what is the answer. The Financial Supervision Committee indicated that they want to hear from the Government, how they are going to cover a deficit of 127 million on the budget. Last week, Finance Minister Kenneth Gijsbertha obtained recommendations from the Committee that revised the 2019 budget. The Minister was to present these results first to the Council of Ministers, before informing the community about the recommendations. Along with these revisions, the Minister and also the MAN party have a lot of hope in the Commission, to review the current tax regime. Among others, the former Minister Ersilia "Zus" Delannooy will advise the Minister as a member of this commission along with the Sectoral Director of Fiscal Affairs, the Head of Tax Inspection, the Chief of Customs, Ontvanger, the SOAB director, the Director Sectorial General Affairs and Experts such as Julien López Ramirez and Arne Kattouw. This work team will give its recommendations to the Minister of Finance, this coming March 15. This review should offer proposals for a more effective regime. Possibly it will change between other OB for a system of ABB, this collection will be an import point for the coming 2020.
