WILLEMSTAD - After EXTRA showed all the trash on the public beach of Sonesta yesterday, the product development department of CTB set off to work immediately and yesterday afternoon they cleaned the beach, bushes were cut, debris was collected and the order was returned, as if to give us the desire to visit it again and to stay the way we want our visitors to see it.

EXTRA spoke with Ritzel Godfried who is in charge of the development department of the CTB products and showed how quickly we have acted when he took into account the situation on the beach.

Yesterday while beach was being cleaned up, they received many positive reactions from tourists that where staying at the Clarion Hotel. Godfried told EXTRA that they trimmed bushes, removed the trash from the seashore, developed a depth of sand to skirt the palm trees, and even watered them with water. All this according to Ritzel Godfried should be in the hands of LVV. Observing the situation of this and other beaches, Godfried believes that his suggestion to the government is, to go through the beaches in the hands of CTB ".... I believe that the town does not deserve this if there is regular maintenance to the beaches none of this should be necessary. This is what Ritzel Godfried declared.

He also said that while the beaches are in the hands of LVV he couldn’t interfere in his land. As yesterday it was an emergency situation the department of product development CTB set to work and decided to clean this beach in particular.

"I challenge the government so that if they give me those beaches to keep them as they should be, I will comply with my words of this challenge, that these beaches will never be dirty again." This is what Mr. Godfried to EXTRA.
