WILLEMSTAD.- Once again another young man lost his life in a tragic way, after what was apparently a simple discussion. On Saturday around 5.50am, the Police Central received information about a shooting incident that took place at the beginning of Caracasbaaiweg, in front of a car agency. Upon arrival of the first unit, they found a man laying down with a number of bullet wounds in the upper part of his body.  In the street and the surroundings of the victim, there were a lot of bullet hulls. The presence of the ambulance personnel was urgently requested at the site, but unfortunately upon arrival, they could not do anything else for the victim. The Doctor of the Police that appeared in the site, verified the death of the man Dhenico Johannes Pauletta, born in Curaçao on August 13, 1985. This young man turned out to be a great footballer from Centro Dominguito. From the preliminary investigation it emerged clearly that the victim was accompanied by more acquaintances on the site, and suddenly a car passed and one or more occupants of the car fired shots aimed at the victim, with the fatal consequence. EXTRA has understood that a while before, the victim was immersed in an argument with a group of people in a nearby nightclub. At that moment, the group of people left the site while the victim stayed. After an hour, the victim along with some friends left to go home. While walking towards his car, a vehicle passed with some people inside and opened fire on the victim. By order of the prosecutor's office, the lifeless body was confiscated to practice the respective autopsy of the Law. The investigation in this case will continue.
