WILLEMSTAD - Inselair was in the intensive care but in 2016 it had a lot of weight in the Caribbean. This is what mr. Luis Kanee of One Laser Group said. OLG is the new strategic partner that will have a financial injection in Inselair.

Mr. Kanee explained that OLG consists of 5 investors and will have several companies. For the process of Inselair it required opening a new company which was established in May. During the press conference, Mr. Kanee indicated that the reasons why Inselair was chosen is because Inselair has great potential and many opportunities.

Inselair is a big and friendly company with a presence in the Caribbean region. OLG firmly believes in making relevant changes and with a good injection of capital, Inselair can return to its glory days.

Another point in favor of Inselair is the location of Curaçao and that the bridge established between the ABC islands attracted the attention of OLG. Also that Curaçao’s location is very central for air connections.

When OLG enters Inselair, investments will be made step by step. The first step is to pay the debt that Inselair has in several countries and with other companies, especially to those where Inselair wishes to fly to. Afterwards new equipment will be brought in. Kanee spoke of a gradual growth of Inselair.

Also discussed were the planes that must be leased and the issues related to employees. This will also be done step by step so that the employees can receive the proper training and resume their jobs.
