WILLEMSTAD.- Curacao Marriott Beach Resort will have a completely new look with a truly Caribbean touch, and it is the goal and desire of the company's management to employ as many local workers as possible, says the general manager of the hotel, which will soon open its doors, during an annual press conference of CHATA. Craig Martin, one of the CHATA speakers who know the Caribbean market very well, indicated what the facilities that the hotel will offer. In principle they indicated that a renovation of the hotel will be made, but the reality is that the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort went through a process of total reconstruction. Not only did they build more rooms and they also put more levels, but they also decided to renovate and rebuild each room completely. Well the hotel will have a completely new and fresh face.

The hotel will have 336 rooms of which 8 suites, 184 rooms 'King size' and 144 rooms 'double queen'. By the way, the rooms are built in such a way that they open up to the sea. Not only the rooms will be new but also the entire building, the hotel will have a new 'look' with new paint, the lobby completely open with the sea view. The restaurant will have facilities to accommodate a group of 150 people with a buffet on the beach. This same restaurant will be changed into another style to accommodate visitors at night. To expand the amount of chefs Marriott decided to employ a chef who was employed in St. Martin. He is a professional who due to hurricane Irma has lost his job. Mr. Martin also illustrated that the restaurant and the VIP club will be with furniture specially imported from Portugal but with a completely Caribbean touch that can accommodate 400 people.
