Ronnie Cornelis of MEO warns: "Do not buy illegal number"

Komparti:

WILLEMSTAD.-If things are taking place in Curaçao, it is because we are allowing this to happen. Constantly during the controls of the multidisciplinary team in soda fountains (snek) and mini-suppliers (toko), the team runs into illegal things. And one is the sale of illegal numbers. Buying illegal numbers does not suit Curaçao and can cause problems, if it turns out that the buyer earned a lot of money and the seller cannot pay him. The buyer cannot make a claim anywhere.

Yesterday the multidisciplinary team went to a toko that was selling illegal numbers and right next to the toko, there was a sales office of Joe Black numbers that is fulfilling its legal obligations.

EXTRA spoke with Mr. MEO's Ronny Cornelis and he warned the community about buying illegal numbers.

Cornelis pointed out that the community must be aware that this does not contribute to the development of our country. When the government cannot get money from taxes, logically it cannot meet the needs that the people themselves require, to transform Curaçao into a developed community.

Yesterday they also went to Amandelweg, they ran into a toko right next to another number office of Joe Black, again selling illegal numbers and found many numbers papers of those customers who bought numbers illegally, with the consequence that this contributes to acts of illegality. Because if the community does not buy illegal numbers, obviously there could be no sale of illegal numbers either.

Cornelis told EXTRA that the MEO team can continue with the controls, but in the end if the community continues to buy these illegal numbers, the sale of illegal numbers will continue.

In this same toko, they had viagra sales also illegally. The toko was closed for a period of maximum 10 days and now BAB will make a report of the lack of contribution to the Government taxes, so that they pay. This is the result of selling illegal things.

This is a news piece about Ronnie Cornelis from MEO warning people not to buy illegal phone numbers – likely related to scams, fraud, or unregistered services. It's a consumer protection alert. For a different kind of entertainment, https://baloos-bet-netherlands.nl/ might be a fun alternative. What's the issue with illegal numbers?
