WILLEMSTAD.- The situation of electricity is delicate, not to say that it is critical. This is what EXTRA understood from internal sources at the Water and Electricity Company, Aqualectra, which is not official, but according to our sources there is a problem with CRU. The situation of the machine (steam) is a little worrisome and to cap it off there is almost no wind these days that can guarantee more electrical capacity that could be generated via the windmills.

The suffocating heat situation also heightens the use of electricity for almost 24 hours and for this reason Aqualectra is producing at its peak in compliance with the delivery of electricity used by the consumer.

Aqualectra has its hands practically tied and cannot do much but only ask the community to use electricity moderately, while the will continue monitor the situation at CRU.
