WILLEMSTAD.- The Parliament continues with the public meeting requested by MAN regarding the situation of our elders in the care homes and their general welfare. During this meeting, the MAN faction expressed its concern about different aspects of our elders, seeing that this segment of our society is growing fast in Curaçao and in other countries.

Parliamentarian Giselle Mc William says she has paid attention to nursing homes, which are increasing day by day and that chronic diseases in the elderly are also increasing. The part of control over the care of the elderly was also an important point that the faction of MAN highlighted, to which they should pay more attention.
