WILLEMSTAD.- Today teachers and members of the SITEK Union will continue with their three days of action. Today, since very early in the morning, workers in education are going to be at the headquarters of SITEK where they await a response from the Minister of Education on the points for which she must make a decision. According to the President of SITEK, Darius "Lio" Plantijn, education workers continue with their actions, because today SITEK must obtain an answer on the subject of Promotion of Teacher A to B. Therefore, all teachers must be present at the SITEK headquarters from 7.30 in the morning today. The workers will come to the headquarters to hear the statement of the Minister of Education on the advice that the three Government Jurists gave him on the matter of the Promotion of A to B. Next to this, Plantijn said that today, the teachers have some activities that they are going to carry out while waiting for the response of the Minister of Education. Yesterday two days of actions by the teachers were completed, and they left yesterday to raise awareness among the children's elders, of what is happening in the schools. Therefore, yesterday morning they went to the Hariri Square where they made a parody. Then they went to sweep the streets, illustrating the work they have to do at the same time they have to teach the students.
