WILLEMSTAD.- The weekend concluded with three tragic deaths after two severe traffic accidents occurred on the same day. The first took place yesterday around 6.30 am when the Police Centra Stationl received the information of a serious traffic accident on Weg Naar Westpunt at Daniel. At the arrival of the first unit, they encountered two vehicles (family cars) which crashed frontally against each other and in which both drivers were in a very critical situation. Upon the arrival of the ambulance staff, they found that the victims showed no sign of life. The doctor of the Police who arrived at the site declared the deaths of the chauffeur lady, Coralina Rosan Augusta Fraay-Soemanta, born in Curaçao on May 5, 1961 and Aydeline Ster, born in Curaçao on July 19, 1986. From the investigation’s preliminary results, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle that was heading in the direction of Banda Bou, attempted to pass the vehicle that was driving in front of her and faced another vehicle coming in the opposite direction. As a result of the multiple injuries suffered by both drivers (women), they unfortunately died at the place of the accident.
