WILLEMSTAD.- Without wanting to bring panic in our community, the Police Force wants to alert the community for the increase last week of robbery cases. There robberies took place in houses, establishments, and also in the street.

These robberies are taking place in different neighborhoods around practically the entire island, and this gives an indication that it is not a specific group dealing solely with the commission of robberies.

It is also remarkable that not only local citizens are victims but also foreigners. Soon the police will emit a new statement that will contain valuable measures that the community can apply, so preventively prevent robberies as much as possible.

However, the police are making every effort to lay hands on those responsible for these crimes, for this the police need help from the community.

Even the Police Corps notes that although no one has the right to rob others, many victims are not aware that they should be more alert.

Until now, a person is surprised by a robbery, either by carelessness or negligence, because if they were more attentive, they could have frustrated or avoided this crime.
