WILLEMSTAD.- This past Saturday, Mr. Bernhard "Ben" Whiteman, highlighted a delicate aspect and it was after analyzing the attitudes of some political leaders, he cannot remove the impression that some politicians are bought or they sold themselves.

That is why his message to the union leaders is that they must be primarily patriotic, because unionism is one of the most noble and necessary positions in the world. Now more than ever, despite the developments, it can be seen that people become monsters. They can finish you and beyond, if they can also leave your plans swept and crushed, do not hesitate to do so. Whiteman added: This is why unionism is something sacred, and obviously much more so for the working class.

"When you are a trade unionist, the interests of the workers are in the first place and secondly the interests of the country, that is, the general interest." This means that when a trade unionist talks to the workers against their own interests as a worker and it refers to general interest, there is something wrong, God knows what interest you are serving, "Whiteman said. A country that has its rules in order is a country in which the general interest is well served. The interests of the workers should always be first and foremost, since they exercise a decent job to raise and sustain their families with dignity.

But here we see trade union leaders who become government spokespersons and instead of preparing to safeguard job quotas, they rather prepare the workers to go home, that is, they are preparing to lose their jobs. .Whiteman explained that there are leaders who even in a strategic way wait until the last moment to deliver their news. This is not trade unionism, Whiteman pointed out the trade unionists that are taking care of "little things" with the Ministers and leave as spokesmen of the Government, while the whole world remains quiet and complicit in silence.
