Sports with Love Program is part of the social responsibility efforts executed by Island Finance as a contribution to the community of Curacao. Through this initiative Island Finance provided selected school with sports equipment to enhance the resources of their physical education program and stimulate children’s physical activity. Colegio Chaya Willems was chosen to benefit from the Sports with Love Program this year.
“Education is a very important part of our Corporate values. Island Finance wants to support schools with sports equipment, to encourage a better quality of life for their students. We all know that nutrition and exercise are essential elements in our lifestyle. Playing sports also provides children with the opportunity to build positive character traits and self-esteem.”, said Guillermo Giribaldie, Country Manager. The donation was done according to the school specific needs mostly for skills development, gym sports, basketball, volleyball and table tennis. Also, Island Finance team members painted the school’s recreational spaces.
