WILLEMSTAD – As very first dive center on Curacao and the 2nd in the lower Caribbean, Blue Bay Dive got awarded the PADI 5 Star Career Development Center (CDC) rating, the highest award given by PADI around the world. Blue Bay Dive is part of the Dive Division network that operates 5 dive centers on Curacao. The PADI 5 Star Career Development Center (CDC) classification is awarded to PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centers that dedicate their businesses to professional development for dive instructors.
In-house Gold status Course Director and owner Mick Bosman is honored to receive the CDC status: “We have put a lot of effort to create an environment for structural dive instructor development on Curacao. It is awesome to assist dedicated divers to fulfill their dream making diving their career”.
Blue Bay Dive created the Dive Division Pro Development Program, an extensive variety of information, courses, and guidance. Divers can choose to do the pro courses in several days or choose to do an internship, where you will be guided by a highly trained PADI instructor and gain experience in the work field, there is even the possibility to go from beginner to pro. ‘’A dive career is now available for everyone, this means we offer internships and offer Local Scholarship opportunities every year.’’.
Want to be trained by Elite PADI Instructors? On the Dive Division website & YouTube channel you will find all the information you need. Divemaster courses and instructor specialty courses will be given all year round, where the Instructor Development Course will be held several times a year.
