Check undocumented people and let them go!?
WILLEMSTD.- Information that EXTRA has, indicate that yesterday they came across uniformed people with several undocumented persons. As announced, there is no more room in the barracks. Authorities checked undocumented people for weapons and drugs the moment they ran into them on the coast and then let them go. Later another patrol met a group of people walking and immediately reported to the Central Police, but apparently “nobody knows anything.”
We already have information about around 17 undocumented people, but since there is no more room in the barracks, it seems that the most “creative” solution is to let them go free even more.
Continuing with the investigation of this development, EXTRA obtained information that in Fuik, on the Maal grounds, a boat arrived on land with 23 more people, undocumented. Inhabitants of Fuik and neighborhoods immediately called the police indicating that there is a group of people walking towards Punda. EXTRA will try to obtain more information related to this case, since Curaçao has many problems with too many people who, for example, are not working; many in a very difficult social situation and to crown influences the financial, social and economic situation of the island, which is one of the most serious concerns at present.
