In what is being seen as an historic collaboration, Guardian Group has partnered with the United Nationsestablished University for Peace through its Centre for Executive Education, in offering ten Global Leadership Diploma Scholarships across the region.
Guardian Group believes that its Global Leadership Diploma Scholarship is a unique opportunity for potential and emerging leaders in the Caribbean to fulfill their individual visions and goals of fostering positive change in the communities and environments in which they live.
On the significance of the programme, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Group, Ravi Tewari, posed the question : “Are we born to lead, or are we led to believe that?”
Mr. Tewari said that from Guardian Group’s perspective, there is an urgent need for innovative, visionary and compassionate leadership at several levels:
“We live in extraordinary and unpredictable times which require us not to look outwardly for others to lead, but to find those qualities within ourselves.”
He noted, “The time has come when we can no longer abdicate the responsibility to others in seeking or expecting the change we wish to see in our communities or the region.”
Interested individuals can apply for Guardian Group’s Global Leadership Diploma Scholarship Programme with the United Nations-established University for Peace (UPEACE) through its Centre for Executive Education, at ggscholarship.com.
