Yesterday at 5:00 pm, Hurricane Beryl was located at a distance of about 1500 kilometers east southeast of the islands of the Caribbean Sea. Beryl, which is a hurricane with a small diameter, is moving fast in the west direction. Until now, the Hurricane does not show that it could become a threat to Curacao or nearby islands. The Meteorology Service of Curacao, however, will continue to monitor the development and movement of this hurricanes.
Yesterday in the afternoon the tropical depression #3 was formed over the Atlantic Ocean in front of Cape Hatteras, near the coasts of North Carolina. This system stayed at sea and will have no influence on any territory.
