WILLEMSTAD.- Everything indicates that the investigation in the murder case of Helmin Wiels (Maximus), has taken an interesting turn when the RST authorities have decided to call ex-parliament members of MFK to give a statement in this case. What former parliament members can contribute to this investigation is unknown. EXTRA, however, has three names of those which RST has an interest, but it is not appropriate to mention those names. It has taken almost five and a half years to finally begin the criminal proceedings regarding the architects behind the murder of Helmin Wiels. There are still many questions and doubts about whether the Public Prosecutor’s Office will effectively convince the Court of the culpability of Jamaloodin. Jamaloodin has always maintained his innocence and it is important to note that Jamaloodin has a broad defense team that is preparing his defense with painstaking detail. According to our sources, this has led to ex-parliament members of the MFK party to answer some questions, which the Public Prosecutor’s Office believe are relevant to the investigation. On December 18, the accusation against Jamaloodin will be formalized as well as the allegations and wishes of both parties before this case is dealt with in the Criminal Court of First Instance. It should be noted that taking into account the scale of this case, it is projected to last a few more months before it reaches a more advanced stage.
