WILLEMSTAD.- Yesterday around 12.40, the Police Central received the information that in Groot Sta. Martha there was a man apparently unconscious or asleep in the street. At the arrival of a police unit at the scene, they found a bloody man asleep on the street.
The man had bullet perforations in different parts of his body. The police also obtained and confiscated different bullet casings that were scattered on the street. At approximately 2.40 hours, the police doctor arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of a man named Sylvano Mitchel Egbert Van Utrecht, born on September 29, 1968 in Curaçao.
By order of the Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, his lifeless body was taken to the forensic morgue to carry out further investigations in this regard. The Detectives Department will continue with additional important investigations.
