WILLEMSTAD.- Once again, Curaçao learned of another case of ferocious and atrocious murder at the time when an older man was cruelly tortured and abandoned, lying in the abyss at Baya Beach. This case of terrible murder was a very cruel one, since the man’s sexual organ was castrated. He also received several stabs on the upper part of his body.
Yesterday, around a quarter past eight in the morning (8.15 am), the police received a notification that, in a hollow next to the bridge in the Baya Beach area, there was the body of a man lying apparently asleep, but perhaps without signs of life in his bloody clothes. Immediately, the police dispatch central directed units to the site.
Upon arrival of the patrol, the officers took note of an elderly person, male with several stabs wounds perpetrated on the upper part of his body lying in a hole. As indicated, his sexual organ was castrated. He had his sexual organ in his hand resting on the top of his belly.
This is a senior man with dark skin, shaved hair and normal posture. Around a quarter by 10 o’clock in the morning (10 a.m.), the police doctor who showed up at the site confirmed the man’s death.
The spokesman of the Curaçao Police Force, Imro Zwerwer, confirmed to EXTRA that until last night, no one had yet reported the disappearance of any member of their family who might be lost, so that they could recognize the body and the identity of the victim. This makes the work more difficult for the identification of the victim. On the order of the Prosecutor, the lifeless body was confiscated for further investigation.
