The board of the Curaçao Internet Gaming Association has welcomed the visit of Minister Kenneth Gijsbertha and the delegation of the Gaming Control Board (GCB) to ICE in London in early February. The increased interest in the sector that is engaged in online gaming in Curaçao and the ambition of the minister and the GCB to develop this sector into one of the economic pillars of Curaçao, fits seamlessly with the objectives of the CIGA.

To achieve these objectives, CIGA considers it necessary that all stakeholders involved in the sector work together to create a robust system, anchored in efficient and effective laws and regulations. This concerns on the one hand the operators and their service providers such as trust offices and so-called “master” license holders and on the other hand the supervisors of the aforementioned, being the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten, the GCB and other relevant government bodies such as FIU, MEO, labor affairs and the admission organization.

The online gaming sector offers many opportunities for Curaçao and attracts serious investments in knowledge and infrastructure of the sector, provided that an attractive business and investment climate is created. The board of CIGA is convinced that with a good vision, an efficient approach, reduction of red tape and a public-private partnership, a large number of new jobs can be created in the coming years. This will also take care of knowledge migration and can transfer expertise to local professionals. That too will make an important contribution to the economic growth of the island.

The minister is now waiting for an invitation from the minister to participate in the online gaming commission he has announced that is to develop the design of the sector for the future. A concerted effort is needed from all stakeholders – public authorities – and in particular also from industry and other private parties.

CIGA is happy to share its ambitions with all stakeholders in order to contribute to Curaçao, says Elaine Aster-Behr secretary of the board!

  1. Shopping in stores: the first option is to buy skins directly in your own CS: GO store for real currency. These skins have their price. This means that you need to spend at least $1 or $2 to get one skin for your gaming account. Look at the cs go trade website. Prices vary, but are always more or less accessible to everyone.

  2. It seems to me that a casino is a good option for making money online. After all, I have read a lot of positive reviews on online casinos. So I can really win there.

  3. Are you sure these reviews were real? If I were you, I would doubt it. It seems to me that online casinos are too risky. At the moment, I’m getting a good income from the sale of cs go skins , while there is no risk. Therefore, if you wonder where to sell csgo skins , then I recommend that you look at sites that sell skins.
