Willemstad, December 19, 2018 – Each year the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) organizes a poster contest for children from countries that are affiliated with the association of cruise lines. The theme this year is “Weathering the storm: Disaster preparation for my destination”, whereby the organization wishes to stimulate that students of the Caribbean become conscience of the environment.
The poster contest is divided in two categories: one Junior category for children until 12 years old and one Senior categories for older children between 13 and 16 years old. The two youngsters who represented Curaçao and who made it to the final round, are Alany Rafaela for the Junior category and Rudmar Francisca for the Senior category, both pupils of Kolegio Don Sarto. Each received a check in the name of FCCA and also a gift for their participation to the contest, handed out by the Director of CPA, Mr. Humberto de Castro.
