WILLEMSTAD.-Pueblo Soberano has distanced themselves from today’s protest. There is a prominent member of the party who signed the appeal letter calling for the protest but Pueblo Soberano as party prefers to take political action instead of protest. Revolutionary Force Kórsou says that they observe this situation as a very dangerous one. They point out that the Government of Curaçao intends to use antidemocratic powers and thus eliminate the authorities of the parliament that the people designated in free and democratic elections to represent them. And consequently to silence the voice of the people, they find themselves obligated to take a stand, to emerge in the vanguard of the voice of the people that is the voice of God. And from that point of view, Revolutionary Force Curaçao makes a dramatic call to come to manifest and seriously demonstrate its rejection of the dictatorial decisions that the Government wants to impose on the people. The protest is today at 7:00 am at the Forti gate in Punda in front of the bridge. The letter is signed by Calvin Jansen, Tony Passial and Lucho Rosales. Pueblo Soberano for its part said it took note of a call by citizens to participate in an act of protest against the Government, organized by the platform called “Revolutionary Force”, within the framework of the Government’s intentions to impose an Act of Attorney . Among those who made a call to citizens to participate, there is a person who is a prominent member of the Pueblo Soberano’s Party. The Pueblo Soberano Political Leader emphasizes that at no time did his party make that decision. The Pueblo Soberano Party is totally distanced from this call and urges all its members and supporters NOT to participate in this ill-conceived media struggle.
