TORONTO (CANADA) – September 22, 2020 — Today, RBC Royal Bank (RY on TSX and NYSE)
(“RBC”) issued the following statement regarding its Bonaire branch:
“We can confirm that two employees have tested positive for COVID-19, and additional employees are
considered “close-contacts” of those individuals.
“Our branch will be closed until further notice. We will re-open again when we have sufficient operational
capacity. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
“During this time, clients may make use of RBC’s online and mobile options for most day-to-day banking
transactions. They may also contact our Advice Centre call centre at +599 717 4500. The ATM network
remains available for clients to use, however we strongly encourage clients to use their debit cards for
direct purchasing and payments.”
