WILLEMSTAD.- Yesterday in Tera Kòrá there was a presentation of the students of the University of Curaçao (UoC) in the framework of the work of the 10 Funds for European Development. Students from the Technical School collaborated with the Government of Curaçao to create the new recreation area in the Tera Kòrá neighborhood.

The Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Urban Planning, Zita Jesus Leito, was present during the presentation of the work. Jesus-Leito stated that she was very happy with the UoC students in regards to the practice during the past week. Together with students from France, Curaçao and Colombia, Curaçao students sat down and planned. Minister Jesus-Leito explained that in Tera Kòrá: ‘there will be a recreational park where our people will have the opportunity to come and entertain themselves, especially the community of Tera Kòrá. But all the people of Curaçao are welcome. The elderly, young people thus all without exception.

‘Yesterday the students presented part of the project. The Dean of the “Faculty of Technical Knowledge” of the University of Curaçao, Mr. Ergun Erkoçu, explained that during the week, the students worked on “design construction”. ‘Last Monday we started with the design of the park and we also decided on our plan for the whole week. Together with the students from Curaçao, Colombia, France and Holland, during the other days we built some parts of the park ‘. Minister Zita Jesus-Leito emphasized that the project in Tera Kòrá is a project that found funds from the European Union. Jesus-Leito: “From the 10th European Development Fund, and we will make good use of it”.
