The Curaçao Restaurant Association has provided it’s members with posters to welcome tourists. The posters highlight the guidelines for visitors regarding Covid-19 rules such as keeping their distance and wearing a mask.
Now that tourists are returning to Curaçao, it is important for restaurants to adhere to the Covid-19 rules. But it is also important for the visiting tourist to know what is expected of them. The poster designed by the Curaçao Tourist Board is not only a warm welcome for guests, but also to give a clear explanation of the rules. The restaurant association, with almost 90 members, has chosen to print and distribute the poster because restaurants are already struggling. Business Director Egon Sybrandy: “It’s a small gesture, but in these times we try to help wherever we can.” Recently, research showed that nearly half of all restaurants will not survive without government support. The CRA is lobbying for more financial support for restaurants on Curaçao.
