WILLEMSTAD.- Venezuelans in Curaçao met massively in Wilhelminaplein yesterday afternoon until night, to offer their full support to the large demonstrations and also to support the new “Interim” President of Venezuela, Mr. Juan Guaidó

Ms. Mary Anne Goiri, leader of Vene Europa in Curaçao, indicated that Venezuelans in 200 countries each organized their demonstrations to support an absolutely democratic Transition Government in Venezuela.

Still, they believe that in a democratic way Venezuela can get out of the situation it is currently in and can once again become a free and sovereign country. They consider that Venezuela is in the hands of a Dictator, who is none other than President Nicolás Maduro.

The demonstration was organized worldwide by Vene Europe. It was to show total support to Juan Guaidó, considered the interim legal president of Venezuela for the group that organized this worldwide demonstration.

Those who led yesterday’s demonstration pointed out that the Venezuelans must insist, resist and persist to achieve a Venezuela free of the corruption of the Maduro regime. The Government of Guaidó is temporary, until new elections are called as soon as possible.

Pastor Guillermo showed up to pray with the Venezuelans. He said he came to Curaçao as a Missionary. He considers this his luck since he works together with a Bishop who esteems Venezuela. Upon his arrival, he met with many Venezuelans who have been affected by the reality of the country because their relatives are still suffering there with this situation. Therefore, he calls for a democratic and sensible way for Maduro tobe relieved of his power.

The protesters invoked the chorus “VENEZUELA LIBRE” in unison.
