WILLEMSTAD.-Yesterday in a very pleasant sphere, the Bikes 4 Kids Curaçao Foundation gave away 100 new bicycles, with their respective insurance and helmets, to disadvantaged children during their Seventh Annual 4 Kids Give Away. At the same time, the children received safety instructions and some tips on how to run their bicycles from local cyclists. The goal of Bikes 4 Kids is, every year, to give away 100 new bicycles to the children of Curaçao who come from families that cannot afford to buy bicycles for their children. Bikes 4 Kids, is a non-profit foundation and funds for the donation of new bicycles was possible thanks to the donation of local companies and individuals. 100% of the funds raised was completely allocated for children. We want to thank our sponsors, namely: Cactus Café, Kooyman, Cost-U-Less, ApexOne and also all the volunteers who cooperated so that it was possible for Bikes 4 Kids to give away 100 new bicycles.
