Giovanni Decaster, union president who at the same time represents the bus drivers of STO, invites all the bus drivers to a meeting tonight. Giovanni Decaster indicated that at the meeting he would clarify all the accusations he has been subjected to.
Decaster said that there seems to be a lot of concern among the bus drivers. At least, these are the information he has received from the STO members who were also present at the STU meeting with Mrs. Minister Zita Jesus-Leito yesterday.
“I have been accused as if I am the one that came up with a plan to restructure public transportation. I did not come up with this plans, this plan to restructure the public transport derives from the community itself and it exists since 2007. As a leader I cannot sit and wait for a possible decision of the government.”
Mr. Decaster went on to say that he is extremely satisfied that the Minister has ratified what was said by him. In the Commission, it is structured how the small buses will be subsidized and other additional points. In the same Commission everything should be attended to and at the end it will go to a general meeting to explain what is decided by the Commission.
Mr. Decaster extends an invitation to each and every one of the bus drivers who were present at the STU meeting and who questioned him. The can hear from himself what all the developments are.
Also all drivers who did not attend the STU meeting yesterday are invited to come to BTG today, Monday, June 25 at 7:00 pm, since according to the president, STO does not exist to harm any bus driver
