WILLEMSTAD.- Yesterday, a number of Police units went to a child care located in Santa Rosa to attend a case of shooting that took place. It is a child care home behind the church of Santa Rosa. The first unit that arrived found the body of a man without signs of life lying in a car on the side of the occupant.

Also, in the same car, there was a lady with a bullet wound in her head. From the preliminary investigation it was known that two people who were sentimentally related had problems which culminated in the rupture of the relationship. This rupture caused serious discussions in the couple in recent days. At the time of the shooting, the couple was in front of the child care home where their children are left in the care of their aunt, sister of the deceased man, who is the owner of the place.

Probably after a strong argument in front of the nursing home, the man shot the woman in her head, which was injured. After this act, the man committed suicide. The ambulance transported the injured lady to emergencies for medical treatment and she was confined to the intensive unit.

The doctor who went to the place confirmed the death of the citizen Albarey Rogelio Rifaela, born in Curaçao, on October 12, 1986. On the site the police found and confiscated a revolver and some items of importance for the investigation.

Immediately after the arrival of the police, the presence of Slachtoffershulp and also of Skuchami was requested in order to treat all the children in the child care home who unfortunately witnessed this case. Afterwards, all the children were let out through the back door to go home with their parents. Following the investigation, the police conducted a search in the house of the deceased. Here too, items of great importance for research were confiscated.

The investigation of this case will continue.
