WILLEMSTAD.- Authorities yesterday confiscated and dismantled 1886 bushes of marijuana, boxes of seeds and also packages of marijuana in a house in Groot Sta. Martha. Wednesday around noon, police conducted a search of a house in Groot Sta. Martha. The raid took place in connection with drug and arms trafficking.
During the investigation in the aforementioned house, police managed to detect a considerable amount of marijuana plants. In the house was confiscated among others: An amount of about 1886 marijuana plants, a box of marijuana seeds and a package of marijuana. On the site a suspect man, J.A.D. 21 years old, born in Curaçao was arrested. The suspect was presented in front of the assistant prosecutor with a pending warrant for further investigation.
