WILLEMSTAD.- The Government of the Dutch Kingdom issued a message yesterday, in which it advises people not to travel to Venezuela these days. This is due to the strong demonstrations that will take place today, January 23. In several large states of Venezuela during the day, there will be huge demonstrations. Today’s one in particular, can possibly get out of the hand. The demonstrators have now obtained a great endorsement and support of a sector of the military.

According to the statement issued by the Dutch Kingdom, it is reported that both the Opposition and the Government of Maduro called on their supporters on both sides, to make a huge national demonstration in the streets of Venezuela. These actions could lead to even violent confrontations between the two groups. Along with this, the borders that border between Venezuela and Colombia, or Venezuela and Brazil are unsafe as a result of the protests. The access roads are blocked, there are armed groups and also criminal groups that are part of the contraband network of said regions, in which mines exist. Even situations of confrontation with the military. Therefore, the Government of the Kingdom advises not to travel to these borders either. Even the southern part of Lake Maracaibo is unsafe.

In fact it is recommended to not travel to this region either. Here in Curaçao, the Venezuelan colony headed by the distinguished Mrs. Mary Ann Goiri, will participate today in a world demonstration, organized by Vene Europa. The demonstration aims to support Juan Guaidó. Guaidó considers himself the Interim Legal President of Venezuela for the group that organizes this worldwide demonstration. Yesterday on social networks, you could see the statement of two soldiers who speak on behalf of a large group of active military, claiming to be tired of the situation in their country, Venezuela, and especially President Nicolás Maduro. Obviously, they await the moment in which Guaidó is sworn in today to assume his position as the Constitutional Charte, and be immediately declared as his Commander in Chief and President of Venezuela. Since yesterday night, recordings of people who started to walk to reach their final destination screaming slogans against Maduro in Venezuela have been recorded.

On social networks since yesterday, you were able to see images of various parts of Venezuela where there were riots. Among others, in San Felix they burned a statue of Chavez that remained on Avenida Dalla Costa.
