WILLEMSTAD.- Last Saturday night in Caracasbaaiweg there was a general control. The Police together with Marechaussee (the Dutch military) and the Antillean Military carried out a fairly large control on the aforementioned road. We must emphasize that nothing was found in particular. There was an arrest at the time, but EXTRA could not find out if this person was subsequently released.
A van with a group of assistants of Santa was also detained and the assistants were checked on their bodies, to verify if they were real assistants and not others with bad intentions. In the truck, the police found a machete that was confiscated. After performing this control, the participants were allowed to continue freely with their course.
