WILLEMSTAD – As a result of a good job done by authorities, three Latino men have been arrested after a large amount of firearms and drugs where found in their possession
On Saturday, June 9, 2018, around a quarter to seven o’clock at night a police unit pulled over a truck leaving Patrick (area of banda bou) because of suspicious concerns.
The patrol officer ordered the driver to step out of the vehicle so that a search could be conducted. During the search, police found 5 suitcases in the back of the truck.
In these suitcases, police found a total of 11 firearms (pistols and revolvers), a large amount of ammunition, and also a substantial amount of cocaine and heroin. The police confiscated the van and packages for further investigation
All three men in the truck where arrested because of violation of the Opium and Firearms laws.
The three men arrested where: H.A.M.S., born in Colombia of 45 years of age, H.H.H.O., born in Colombia of 27 years of age and W.F.C.L., born in Venezuela of 32 years of age.
