WILLEMSTAD.- Despite the heavy blow that the Police received last weekend with the sensational robbery that took place in the police offices of Garipitoweg, yesterday the Police Chief announced his appreciation and praise for the Police Force.
Police chief Sambo said yesterday that the security issue will touch all the places where they have police working, although this will be in a much longer term. Sambo explained that he offers a word of recognition to his colleagues in the entire Force.
What happened on the weekend was a hard blow and this event caused a lot of pain. But, even so, the Police Force very quickly managed to reverse the situation and began to look forward to know what are the things that must happen to remedy what needs solution. These were the reasons to exchange strongly with others, but with the necessary respect and it is a strength that this team has since it knows how to solve situations when necessary.
Sambo explained that they have a long way to go, but they have challenges and commitments that not only a group of the Police Force must resolve, but the whole organization as a whole. A security context must be created and all the parties show their commitment to it and, out of nothing or without more, get something good out of this crisis that arose, so Sambo added.
