WILLEMSTAD.- According to the President of the MAN Party: Yves “Payo” Schoop, MAN supports 100% the candidate Neysa Schoop-Isenia to become Minister of Economic Development. Schoop-Isenia is now in the process of screening, which is yet to be finished.
According to Yves Schoop, “These are things from previous years that are not relevant to this screening, I cannot understand how something like this could have come about, that is unlawful and that could influence this process.” According to Schoop, every day they have contact with Schoop-Isenia. In his opinion it is an injustice what is happening. As is well known, Schoop-Isenia instructed its lawyer Michael Bonaparte to send a letter to the Central Bank of Curaçao and San Martin regarding a memo that Acting Director Leyla Matroos-Vos send to Finance Minister Kenneth Gijsbertha. MAN President Yves “Payo” Schoop explained that Schoop Isenia is protecting her steps to take care of her integrity. As a party we stand behind this, steps that are taking place to protect their integrity, but also their dignity and practice justice. Parliamentarian Giselle Mc William yesterday wrote on her Facebook page: “I am with you Neysa Isenia. Truth will triumph and masks must fall in this country. ”
